Project Description:
CTS was awarded the contract with the City of Phoenix ITD department to supply and install the structured cabling system for the new Phoenix Crime Lab. When the crime lab is completed (estimated mid 2007) it will be the most technology advanced crime lab in the country. CTS worked very closely with the Phoenix Police Technology staff and the Phoenix Information Technology Department to ensure that all the cabling requirements were met.

Provided and installed a complete in ceiling cable support system
Provided and installed over (150) work area outlets in (6) buildings. Each outlet consisted of 2 data cables and 2 voice cables
CTS built out one main telecommunication closet (MTC) and (5) telecommunication closets (TC). Each telecommunication closet comprised of open frame relay racks, cabinets, grounding systems and cable tray
Provided and installed a large fiber optic backbone system comprised of 24MM 50um and 12 SM optical fiber strands feeding from the MTC to each TC closet
Provided and installed (1) 100pr PE 89 from the MTC room to each TC room
Provided and installed the fire alarm cabling infrastructure

Project Description:
Product: Sumitomo Air Blown Fiber/Ortronics/Berk-Tek
Corporate Technology Solutions has been contracted to install a new Information Transport System (ITS) for the new Santa Cruz Detention Center located in Nogales, Arizona.
The system includes a new Sumitomo air blown fiber optic backbone, large copper backbone system and the installation of a new horizontal category 6 infrastructure.
The fiber optic backbone consists of (07) cell tubes with various multi-mode and single mode fiber bundles being installed from the MTC room to (6) new TC rooms in the facility. A new 100pr copper backbone will be installed from the MTC room out to (6) new TC rooms to support various pots and 1FB lines. In addition, we will be installing over 700 plus new category 6 cable to over 250 locations.
CTS is also responsible for the build of a large MTC room and 6 new TC rooms located in the facility.
